Fibber McGee and Molly presents “Parakeet’s Preference,” episode 765 of the classic NBC comedy series, originally broadcast November 6, 1953. Jim Jordan stars as Fibber McGee, with Marian Jordan as Molly McGee.
The McGees face a small but pressing household question: does their pet parakeet prefer sunshine or shade? This brief weekday-era episode finds Fibber and Molly trying to settle the bird’s preference in their own comic fashion.
Fibber McGee and Molly presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
