Fibber McGee and Molly presents “Paperboy McGee,” episode 1205, originally broadcast on October 14, 1955. This NBC program is a rebroadcast of the November 1, 1954 episode, starring real-life husband-and-wife team Jim and Marian Jordan as Fibber and Molly McGee.
When Fibber tries to help a neighborhood paperboy, his good intentions leave him behind the usual eight-ball in Wistful Vista. Ralph Goodman and Phil Leslie wrote this compact mid-century comedy, sponsored by Alka-Seltzer.
Fibber McGee and Molly presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
