Gunsmoke presents “Trapper’s Revenge,” episode 365 of the classic CBS radio series, originally broadcast April 5, 1959. Written by John Dunkel, the episode stars William Conrad as Marshal Matt Dillon, with Parley Baer, Georgia Ellis, and Howard McNear.
After a grizzly-bear attack, injured trapper Tug Marsh is brought into Dodge City believing his former partner left him to die. As old bitterness threatens to turn into private revenge, Matt Dillon faces a dangerous dispute between two men of the wilderness.
Gunsmoke presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned and mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
