The Shadow presents “Murder with Music,” originally broadcast on February 3, 1946. This Mutual Broadcasting System episode, number 357, stars Bret Morrison as Lamont Cranston/The Shadow and Lesley Woods as Margo Lane.
A society musicale at Harriet Hamilton’s mansion turns deadly when actress Jennifer Gaye is found murdered. With the elegant guests under suspicion, Lamont Cranston and Margo Lane investigate a closed-circle mystery where music, high society, and danger share the same stage. Written by Joe Bates Smith and directed by John Cole.
The Shadow presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
