From The Shadow comes “Murder Incorporated,” originally broadcast December 17, 1939. Listed as episode 178, this Mutual Broadcasting System presentation was sponsored by Blue Coal and stars Bill Johnstone as Lamont Cranston/The Shadow, with Marjorie Anderson as Margot Lane.
A murder-for-hire gang has found a lethal use for ordinary matches. As quiet, calculated killings mount, Lamont and Margot follow the sinister trail before the organization can strike again.
The Shadow presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
