Washington To Host FOUR 5-STAR 2028 Recruits During Apple Cup

Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies are gearing up for a wild recruiting weekend as four 5-star prospects, including elite edge rusher Jalanie George and the nation's No. 1 linebacker Tahj Gray, descend on Montlake for the Apple Cup. Can UW capitalize on family ties, including Gray's older brother, four-star edge rusher Chaz Gray, who is committed to Washington, and recent momentum to land these future stars? Locked On Huskies host Roman Tomashoff spotlights key matchups in the battle for national talent, featuring offensive tackle Antijuan Wilkes, wideout DeAndre Bidden, and the nation's top tight end Tytan McNeal.

Recruiting buzz centers around building pipelines from Arizona, with cornerback Nekhi Lambeth in attendance, while in-state standouts like Aedyn Havili and Kyler Harden headline Washington’s wish list. Insights on scheme fit, coaching impact, evolving recruiting strategies, and the Huskies’ push to fend off powerhouses like Ohio State and Michigan frame the conversation.
