On3 Projects Washington Huskies To MAKE College Football Playoff

Can the Washington Huskies surge into College Football Playoff contention in 2026? Can Demond Williams Jr.'s growth and a revamped defense elevate Jedd Fisch's team past Big Ten powers like USC, Indiana, and Oregon? Locked On Huskies host Roman Tomashoff breaks down On3's Brett McMurphy's playoff projections, the rising expectations under Jedd Fisch, and why the Huskies have everything they need under Fisch and Ryan Walters to continue to grow in 2026.

Will Washington’s program-building strategy pay off in 2026 and beyond? Insights include the retention of top returners like Dezmen Roebuck, John Mills, Chris Lawson, and more, key contributors like Dylan Robinson and Rylon Dillard-Allen, and the impact that top 2028 targets Jalanie George, Landen Wade, Noel Washington, and Emmanuel Pullins could have on the program as Fisch's coaching staff targets them.

Recruiting intrigue, NIL implications, and the quest for consistent on-field improvement set Washington up as a potential college football powerhouse for years to come.
