Washington's Defensive Line ELIMINATES Questions At Fall Camp

The Washington Huskies’ defensive line impresses as fall camp begins to wind down, with freshmen Ramzak Fruean and Derek Colman-Brusa earning first-team reps and praise from Jedd Fisch and Ryan Walters for their production and maturity, forming a deep line alongside Elinneus Davis, Jacob Lane, Darin Conley, Russell Davis, and more. Locked On Huskies host Roman Tomashoff and Last Word On College Sports' Nick Lemkau highlight how  Walters’ unit looks deeper and more versatile in 2026, raising confidence ahead of Big Ten play. The hosts spotlight transfer portal Kai McClendon’s anticipated impact after his practice debut.

Questions linger at running back and center with Jayden Limar sidelined and Landen Hatchett’s return uncertain. Can Quaid Carr cement his role, and will the offensive line’s depth be enough if injuries persist? The wide receiver corps led by Rashid Williams, Christian Moss, Dezmen Roebuck, and Chris Lawson shows promise, but the Huskies’ biggest test comes right away in a rivalry Apple Cup matchup against Washington State.
