DL Ta'ita'i Uiagalelei Makes LATE RETURN To Washington For 2026 Season

Jedd Fisch, Ryan Walters and the Washington Huskies got a late boost to their defensive line depth with Ta'ita'i Uiagalelei’s return to college football for the 2026 season, capitalizing on a recent eligibility ruling just as fall camp intensifies. Can his experience anchor a rebuilt interior and elevate young standouts like Derek Colman-Brusa and TI Umu-Cais, along with transfer portal acquisitions DeSean Watts, Kai McClendon, and Darin Conley?

Locked On Huskies host Roman Tomashoff and Last Word On College Sports' Nick Lemkau break down position battles across the roster, from the heated X-receiver duel between Christian Moss and Jordan Clay to rising playmakers in the secondary, including Jeron Jones and Ramonz Adams. The hosts analyze offensive line rotation questions with Kolt Dieterich and Jake Flores competing for reps at center, the evolving pass rush, and what the Huskies’ unique wide receiver depth with young prospects like Chris Lawson and Trez Davis could mean for Fisch’s offensive strategy.

Will new faces meet the moment or does Washington’s potential College Football Playoff push hang in the balance?
