Washington Is HEAVILY FAVORED In Race For 5-Star 2028 EDGE Jalanie George

Rivals' Brandon Huffman and Steve Wiltfong logged predictions for the Washington Huskies to land a commitment from five-star edge rusher Jalanie George of Desert Edge High School in Arizona. Can Jedd Fisch’s relentless recruiting efforts overhaul the Huskies’ defensive front and set the stage for defensive coordinator Ryan Walters to build one of the best defensive lines in the Big Ten?

Locked On Huskies host Roman Tomashoff spotlights Washington’s pursuit of elite talent like George and five-star Landen Wade in the 2028 class while breaking down key fall camp developments, including performances from wide receivers looking to step up around Demond Williams Jr., including Rashid Williams, Dezmen Roebuck, Christian Moss, and freshmen Jordan Clay and Trez Davis. Inside observations detail Kai McClendon’s impact on the defensive line, and how a healthy, experienced linebacker corps with the return of Buddah Al-Uqdah could elevate the Huskies’ defense to top-10 national status as the team looks to make a push for the College Football Playoff.
