1-Minute Meditation — Undiluted You Day 4: You Were Not Built to Be 'Convenient' (Why 'Low Maintenance' Was Trained Into You)

Low maintenance isn't a personality. It's something you were trained into.

Easy to be around. Low maintenance. The one who doesn't make things complicated. It worked; it got us approval, so we kept it.

This is Day 4 of our 7-day Undiluted You series. Convenient is not something you are. It's something you were trained into, probably by people who were trained into it too. And the people who actually love you have never once asked you to be smaller.

Where the "be easy to love" rule came from

Why your preferences aren't an inconvenience and your needs aren't a burden

The relief of noticing who never asked you to shrink

️ Today's practice: have one preference out loud

Say where you want to eat. Say you'd rather not. Start there. Under 2 minutes.
