Fibber McGee and Molly presents “Advice and Content,” episode 1000 of the classic NBC comedy, originally broadcast September 30, 1954. Jim Jordan stars as Fibber McGee alongside Marian Jordan as Molly McGee.
A newspaper columnist offers Fibber advice on how to make Molly happy, inspiring a domestic-comedy tangle in this 15-minute installment from the series’ 1953–1956 weekday run. The program was sponsored by Prudential Insurance and Jell-O.
Fibber McGee and Molly presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
