Fibber McGee and Molly presents “Exchanging Christmas Gift,” originally broadcast December 16, 1952. This is episode 712 of the classic NBC comedy series starring Jim and Marian Jordan as Fibber and Molly McGee.
Amid the Christmas-shopping rush, the McGees arrive home with packages to find an unusually large present from Wallace Wimple. Their curiosity soon leads to a department-store exchange counter, while the Old-Timer faces holiday gift-shopping troubles of his own. Written by Phil Leslie and Keith Fowler, the episode originally aired as part of the Reynolds Aluminum program.
Fibber McGee and Molly presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
