From Yours Truly Johnny Dollar: “The Plantagenet Matter, Part 1,” originally broadcast March 5, 1956. This is episode 343, the opening chapter of a five-part CBS serial starring Bob Bailey as insurance investigator Johnny Dollar.
Johnny travels to Vicksburg, Virginia, on what seems to be a routine hotel-safe burglary assignment. But before he can leave, a confrontation in the hotel parking area draws him into a far more troubling situation when a young woman asks for help. Written by John Dawson and directed by Jack Johnstone.
Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
