Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents “The Long Shot Matter, Part 2,” originally broadcast on CBS Radio Network on June 26, 1956. This is episode 424 of the series and the second chapter of a five-part serial, starring Bob Bailey as insurance investigator Johnny Dollar and directed by Jack Johnstone.
In Los Angeles, Dollar follows an anonymous warning that may put National Underwriters at risk on a $100,000 life-insurance policy covering Dr. Victor Palmquist and his wife. With a double-indemnity deadline approaching, the case begins to look like a possible murder investigation.
Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
