Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents “The Primrose Matter, Part 2,” originally broadcast on CBS Radio on October 9, 1956. This is episode 493, the second chapter of a five-part serial written by Les Crutchfield and starring Bob Bailey as insurance investigator Johnny Dollar.
Following a Kansas City payroll robbery involving $100,000 insured by Mid States Industrial, Dollar pursues the gang’s trail into the Arizona desert. A remote lead and a concealed vehicle deepen the mystery as he searches for the missing money and the fugitives responsible.
Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
