Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents “The Silver Blue Matter Part 2,” originally broadcast on CBS on May 8, 1956. This is the second installment of a five-part serial, starring Bob Bailey as freelance insurance investigator Johnny Dollar and written by Les Crutchfield.
In Los Angeles, Johnny continues his investigation into the theft of 80 silver-blue mink coats from a warehouse. With a critically injured watchman, intimidated neighborhood witnesses, and a juvenile gang complicating the trail, the case grows increasingly tense.
Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
