Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents “The Broderick Matter, Part 4,” originally broadcast on CBS Radio on November 17, 1955. This is episode 264 and the fourth chapter of a five-part serial, starring Bob Bailey as freelance insurance investigator Johnny Dollar.
On a modest $1,500 insurance assignment, Dollar continues his cross-country search for missing beneficiary Lorraine Broderick. In Malibu and Los Angeles, a visit to the sheriff’s station, an interview with beach-colony actor Joe Tappan, and a puzzling cache of luggage at the Beverly Glen Hotel offer fresh leads. The episode was written by John Dawson, a pseudonym of E. Jack Neuman.
Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
