Gunsmoke presents “Kite’s Reward,” episode 151 of the classic CBS radio series, originally broadcast on March 5, 1955. William Conrad stars as Marshal Matt Dillon in this John Meston script, produced and directed by Norman Macdonnell.
In Dodge City, young Andy Travis displays a dangerously fast draw during a barroom confrontation. Matt Dillon urges him to put away his gun and build a different future, but the arrival of Joe Kite brings Andy’s past uncomfortably close.
Gunsmoke presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned and mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
