The Adventures of Superman: “The Dead Voice Part-6,” originally broadcast October 3, 1946. This is the sixth chapter of the 15-part Superman-Batman serial, produced by Robert Maxwell for the Mutual Broadcasting System.
As Batman and Superman follow a circus-connected trail in their search for the missing Dick Grayson, Robin faces danger at a bungalow outside Metropolis. Ronald Liss appears as Dick Grayson/Robin, with Jackson Beck as announcer and in the role of Willie. The serial reflects a distinctive radio continuity in which Batman, Robin, and Alfred regularly join Superman in Metropolis.
Old Time Retro Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
