Old Time Retro Radio presents The Adventures of Superman, “The Ghost Car Part-1,” originally broadcast February 9, 1942. This opening chapter of an eight-part serial stars Bud Collyer as Clark Kent/Superman, with Joan Alexander and Jackie Kelk.
Jimmy Olsen alerts Clark Kent to a troubling series of accidents near the Bar-O Dude Ranch in Rocky Point, where witnesses have reported the blinding headlights of a car that seems to vanish. When Jimmy’s call is abruptly cut off, Clark and Lois Lane head for the ranch to investigate.
Old Time Retro Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
