The Shadow presents “The Cat and the Killer,” episode 392, originally broadcast January 12, 1947. This Mutual Broadcasting System mystery stars Bret Morrison as Lamont Cranston/The Shadow and Grace Matthews as Margo Lane.
A Siamese cat pulled from the waterfront wears an unusually valuable silver collar, drawing Lamont and Margo into a perilous investigation that leads from the harbor to carnival grounds and a house of mirrors. The script was written by Lewis Reed.
The Shadow presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
