The Shadow presents “Death Has Eight Arms,” originally broadcast November 2, 1947. Bret Morrison stars as Lamont Cranston, with Grace Matthews as Margot Lane, in a script by William Morwood for the Mutual Broadcasting System.
A theft from a Burmese temple reaches across the world when a valuable paper vanishes and murder follows. As an apparent curse surrounds the temple’s idol, Cranston and Margot investigate the document’s true importance before more lives are threatened.
The Shadow presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
