Frontier Gentleman presents “Kendall’s Last Stand,” episode 4, originally broadcast on CBS on February 23, 1958. John Dehner stars as J. B. Kendall, the London Times correspondent traveling the American frontier; the episode was written, directed, and produced by Antony Ellis.
When Kendall accompanies a cavalry patrol into a frontier crisis, an attack leaves him cut off with the scout Six Toes and a grieving woman at a remote cabin. With danger pressing in, the British journalist becomes more than an observer in this tense Montana Territory survival drama.
Old Time Western Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
