Frontier Gentleman presents “Powder River Kid,” originally broadcast on CBS on April 6, 1958. Episode 10 stars John Dehner as British newspaper correspondent J. B. Kendall and was written and produced by Antony Ellis.
Traveling through Montana Territory toward Fort Benton with the elderly bullwhacker Scales, Kendall encounters the wounded Bill Logan, known as the Powder River Kid. As a reward and a dying man’s request complicate the journey, Kendall faces a tense frontier question of mercy, justice, and duty.
Old Time Western Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned and mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
