Dark Fantasy presents “Dead Hands Reaching,” episode 27, originally broadcast May 22, 1942. This NBC production originated from WKY in Oklahoma City and was written by Scott Bishop, the pseudonym of George M. Hamaker, with John I. Prosser directing and producing.
Office worker Allan Blaine begins hearing an unseen voice offering startlingly helpful advice about his career—and ominous warnings about his troubled relationship with Judith West. As desperation pulls Allan away from ordinary life, his search for escape leads through shadows of Chinatown and toward a disturbing connection with his family’s past. Ben Morris stars as Allan Blaine, with Eleanor Naylor Caughron as Judith West.
