The Devil and Mr. O presents “Nature Study,” episode 8, broadcast November 5, 1971. Hosted and written by Arch Oboler, this syndicated presentation rebroadcast Oboler’s earlier Lights Out drama, originally heard on NBC on June 22, 1943. The cast includes Cathy Lewis and Mary Jane Croft.
A scenic canyon excursion turns into a tense ordeal when a devastating rockslide leaves four travelers cut off amid the steep walls and fallen boulders. As the group faces uncertainty and mounting pressure, the disaster becomes a grim test of conscience and secrets.
