Callous Daoboys' I Don't Want To See You In Heaven: Turning Loud Minds into Wild Art

In this week's episode of We Wreck Records, Carson Pace of The Callous Daoboys unpacks the creativity, experiments and madness behind I Don't Want to See You in Heaven (2025).

This record is a genre-smashing, sonically feral slab of emotional honesty, part mathcore, part heartbreak, part existential exorcism. Carson dives deep on the band's evolving (and very cinematic) sound, their boldest musical experiments yet, and when lyrics can smell.

We talk about speed of thought, artistic vulnerability, turning a loud brain into something beautiful and what it means to completely reinvent yourself, using only your heartbreak as fuel.
