Ep. 10 The Alumni Effect: How Engagement Powers Growth

Your alumni program isn't just a feel-good initiative — it's one of the most underutilized engines for growth in behavioral health.

In this episode, Mark, Jeff, and Lee unpack the real business value of alumni engagement. From patient outcomes to long-term brand impact, a strong alumni program creates a ripple effect that touches marketing, admissions, research, and referrals. But building one takes more than a Facebook group and good intentions — it takes strategy, structure, and storytelling.

If your treatment center doesn't invest in alumni, you're missing one of the lowest cost, highest return opportunities to scale your reach and deepen your impact. This episode shows you how to activate that network with intention — without losing your personal touch.

What You'll Learn:

• How alumni can account for 30% of new admissions

• The cost of not investing in long-term patient connection

• Why alumni engagement boosts outcomes and brand equity

• Proven event and activation strategies that scale

• How to track impact and "defend the spend" with data

• What to avoid when launching or revamping your alumni program
