Majoring in Minors

When the house is on fire, no one stops to dust the furniture. Yet too often, Christians fixate on trifles while the world burns. This is what it means to “major in minors” arguing over small issues while neglecting the urgent work of proclaiming God’s truth.

Scripture calls us to urgency, not distraction. Paul declared, “Woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” (1 Cor. 9:16). If we focus on the Word of God, we become strong in Christ; if we obsess over trifles, we become triflers. The times demand clarity, courage, and priority.
