Work matters to God. Wealth honestly created is not opposed to faith it enables charity and advances God’s Kingdom. “Charity begins at work.” When discipline and productivity are neglected, society decays, and lawlessness follows.

Jesus is clear: “Seek ye first the kingdom of God” (Matt. 6:33). When people put comfort and recreation first, both God’s work and their neighbors suffer. Right priorities set by God’s Word are the foundation of a healthy, just society.
