Why is inequality often difficult to recognize in modern society? In this episode, I explore how comfort, entertainment, success stories, and ideas of personal responsibility can make structural differences less visible. Wealthy people are often presented as aspirational figures, while poverty is treated as an individual problem. I also examine inherited advantages in politics and business, where family networks, capital, reputation, and existing organizations can create very different starting points. The point is not to blame rich people or second-generation leaders, but to understand the structures that reproduce advantage. Without seeing those structures, we may misunderstand both society and our own lives.
