Law enforcement agencies in Kentucky and Oregon are actively reexamining the mysterious deaths of Joyce "Mable" Bridges in 1972 and Astrid Bridges in 1993, both of whom were married to an 86-year-old man named John Bridges. Although initial reports lacked emergency medical involvement and detailed scrutiny, Joyce's body was later exhumed in 2015, leading officials to officially classify her passing as a homicide. Meanwhile, authorities in Gresham, Oregon, have formally named John Bridges as a suspect in the suspicious death of his second wife, Astrid. The cold case investigations have intensified as family members and neighbors highlight the unsettling similarities between the two untimely fatalities. Currently, no formal charges have been filed against the suspect, while investigators continue to seek public assistance to uncover the truth behind these decades-old tragedies.
