Dr Parmjeet Parmar

ACT MP Dr Parmjeet Parmar says migrants entering professional occupations in New Zealand should meet the necessary English-language standards.

Her comments come after another rally by bus drivers in Auckland, who have raised concerns about language requirements.

Dr Parmjeet Parmar joins Radio Tarana host Sanjesh Narain to discuss ACT’s recently announced policies, including the proposed freeze on the minimum adult wage, immigration policy, and English-language requirements for bus drivers and other professions.
