Ep 67 - What Judgment Is Really About

I didn’t expect a sea of women dressed in purple to make me look so closely at the way I speak to myself. But that’s exactly what happened. On International Women’s Day in Costa Rica, I found myself surrounded by women hugging, celebrating and standing together. I remember looking around and thinking: we’re all on the same team. It made me think about judgment, how quickly we can judge other women, but also how much of that can come from the way we judge ourselves.

That realization started something personal for me. I began paying closer attention to my own inner voice and even started leaving little post-it notes with words I needed to hear. Slowly, I began to see how choosing more kindness and compassion toward myself was changing the way I saw other people too.

In this episode, I talk about what that experience taught me about womanhood, connection and seeing ourselves in one another. Maybe the more compassion we learn to give ourselves, the more we have to give each other.
