What REALLY happened at O.J. Simpson’s Rockingham estate when the white Bronco finally arrived?
Former LAPD officer *Spencer Marks was there* on June 17, 1994 — and in this episode of TZ Scandal, he takes Tom Zenner inside the police operation unfolding beyond the television cameras during the final moments of the infamous O.J. Simpson Bronco chase. Marks describes arriving at Rockingham before the chaos, watching LAPD SWAT move into position, and personally helping camouflage a tactical sniper by placing ivy into his ghillie suit.
According to Marks, the concealed marksman was positioned inside the property with an MP5 and could have been only *15–20 feet from O.J. Simpson* if the situation turned violent. Spencer also reveals what police were preparing for as O.J. approached Rockingham with a gun, why he believed the night could end in a shootout or suicide-by-cop, what happened when the Bronco finally pulled in, and why he felt O.J. received preferential treatment because of his celebrity status.
Marks was also one of the LAPD officers who responded to Nicole Brown Simpson’s 1993 911 call after O.J. kicked in her French doors. He recalls Nicole telling him she believed O.J. would one day murder her — a statement that took on chilling significance after the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. This is the O.J. Simpson Bronco chase from the perspective of a police officer who was *actually standing at Rockingham when history unfolded.* *GET SPENCER MARKS’ BOOK — *Blue Knights, Black Knights*:*
