BIG NEWS: College Sports Are About to Change FOREVER... Is Indiana Ready for These Changes?

A major college sports bill just cleared an important procedural hurdle in the United States Senate.

The Senate voted 74–24 to advance consideration of the bipartisan Protect College Sports Act, legislation that could establish new federal rules affecting eligibility, the transfer portal, NIL and revenue sharing, athlete protections, coaching movement and more. The vote does NOT make the proposal law, and additional steps remain in the Senate and Congress.

Jacob Goins breaks down what the proposed changes could mean specifically for Indiana Football and Indiana Basketball, including how new transfer rules could affect two programs that have relied heavily on the portal, how eligibility standards could affect future cases and why the proposed restriction on midseason coaching moves is relevant to programs such as Indiana.

Then, TJ Pittinger of Big Ten Football Addiction joins the show to discuss Indiana Football's place atop the Big Ten, why Curt Cignetti and the defending champions deserve the benefit of the doubt, Josh Hoover's start, Charlie Becker's incredible production and the first real tests awaiting the Hoosiers.
