HIGH PRESSURE: This Is the Year Indiana Basketball HAS to Get It Right

Expectations are rising for Darian DeVries and Indiana Basketball entering Year 2 in Bloomington.

Jacob Goins joins Isaac Schade of Locked On College Basketball for a complete 2026-27 Indiana Hoosiers basketball season preview. After missing the NCAA Tournament last season, IU has rebuilt its roster through the transfer portal with more size, depth, experience and versatility around DeVries.

Jacob and Isaac break down the biggest Indiana Basketball storylines, including Markus Burton's return to the state of Indiana, Aiden Sherrell's importance to the Hoosiers' frontcourt, Samet Yigitoglu providing legitimate size at center and the competition involving Darren Harris, Bryce Lindsay, Jaeden Mustaph and Indiana's talented freshmen.

They also project Indiana's starting five, discuss why Trent Sisley could be the X-factor, examine IU's non-conference and Big Ten schedules and give their expectations for where Indiana could finish in the conference and NCAA Tournament picture.

Can Indiana Basketball get back to March Madness in Year 2 under Darian DeVries?
