Is Washington On UPSET ALERT against Michigan State in November?

The Michigan State Spartans are eyeing a shocking upset over the Washington Huskies as Locked On Spartans host Matt Sheehan boldly predicts a November stunner in East Lansing. Despite being in the first year of a rebuild, could Pat Fitzgerald’s squad exploit a tricky Big Ten travel schedule and capitalize against Jedd Fisch and Demond Williams Jr.? Will the Spartans rediscover their hard-nosed, run-first identity and rewrite the narrative?

Sheehan and Locked On Huskies host Roman Tomashoff dissect Washington’s strengths, top-tier offensive and defensive line depth under Fisch, returning production on Ryan Walters' defense, and upgrades in the trenches through the transfer portal, while spotlighting vulnerabilities at running back and wide receiver. The conversation also explores Michigan State’s chances for improvement, focus on culture change, and quarterback Alessio Milivojevic’s development. Can the Huskies’ roster depth withstand the Big Ten grind, or will Michigan State pull off a classic college football upset?

Don’t miss this high-stakes Big Ten football preview packed with insider analysis.
