Huskies Get ENCOURAGING Update on RB Jordan Washington

The Washington Huskies are looking to rebound in the run game as injuries shake up their running back rotation; can John Mills, Drew Azzopardi, and Kodi Greene help UW's offensive line restore its dominance against Utah State?

Locked On Huskies host Roman Tomashoff highlights Jedd Fisch’s optimism surrounding Jordan Washington’s recovery while breaking down key matchups for Saturday’s game. Transfer portal acquisition Trey Cooley and true freshmen Brian Bonner and Ansu Sanoe step into critical roles amid backfield uncertainty. Offensively, red zone execution and a confident start are under the microscope, with rising threats like Baron Naone poised for a breakout. On defense, the focus turns to discipline after 12 penalties against Washington State, with players like Rylon Dillard-Allen, Jacob Manu, Alex McLaughlin, Ramzak Fruean and Derek Colman-Brusa primed to make an impact. Can Ryan Walters and the Huskies’ defense generate turnovers against turnover-prone Utah State QB McCae Hillstead and find the end zone themselves?

Don’t miss Tomashoff’s bold predictions, the latest updates on Washington’s injury situation, and strategic insights shaping the Huskies’ Big Ten season ambitions.
