290. The Announcement

After more than five years and almost 300 episodes, Ali is ending the public podcast. In this solo episode she says it out loud for the first time, and then sits with the harder part: why now, and why she still is not sure it is the right call.

The show will end sometime this fall. Ali does not have an exact date, and she will not say whether this is a true ending or a long pause. She talks about the year her consulting work quietly took over, what she saw when she finally added up her hours, and the two months she spent knowing the answer and refusing to choose it. She kept waiting to feel relief when she pictured it, and it never came.

Patreon, her socials and the full archive are all staying put. Ali is also building a real farewell episode and she wants listeners in it, so if there is an episode you keep coming back to, or you remember exactly what your life looked like when you found the show, she wants to hear it.
