John Stockwell Was an Important CIA Whistleblower | Jerm Warfare

Covert Action Magazine editor Jeremy Kuzmarov argues that the CIA functions as the enforcement arm of corporate interests, infiltrates academia and Hollywood to shape public narratives, glorifies its operations in film, and manufactures consent through propaganda.

He highlights whistleblowers like John Stockwell, whose exposure of covert actions and enigmatic death illustrate the personal dangers that come with challenges to the intelligence establishment. Kuzmarov also critiques the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) as a rebranded CIA which continues foreign interference under the banner of "democracy promotion," and points to the agency's destabilisation activities in regions such as China and Tibet.

Ultimately, he contends that the CIA's sociopathic institutional culture serves corporate and geopolitical objectives, drives unnecessary wars and widespread human suffering.
