Ep. 640 - She's sailed 17 times. She's not a Marvel fan. The Destiny won her over anyway. — DCL Duo Podcast: A Disney Cruise Line Fan Podcast

Jennifer has been on 17 Disney Cruise Line sailings since 2017 — and she boarded the Disney Destiny mid-blizzard, flying out of Indianapolis on Saturday just as the storm hit. What followed was five nights of Marvel theming, villain-themed bars, Pride Lands dinners, and the kind of adult-heavy sailing that catches even platinum cruisers off guard. If you've been curious about the Destiny but aren't sure how it holds up for experienced DCL sailors who aren't die-hard Marvel fans, this is the episode.

In this episode:

Why a late-January sailing on the Destiny still felt like a packed adult crowd — even at 60% capacity
With Great Power: the exact timing strategy you need to actually get a seat
️ Pride Lands' first AND second night menus — including the dishes Jennifer wished she could have ordered twice
The best drink Jennifer's husband discovered on the Destiny — and it wasn't on any menu
Solo music trivia domination, Ziya and Gamble storytellers, and why the Destiny's cast is something special
️ Pre-cruise Fort Lauderdale tips: where to stay, when to arrive, and why nonstop flights matter more in January

"I think the thing that's really interesting about the Destiny is how it changes. The dynamic of the room changes depending on who is in the room... and how that changes the mood of the room, I thought was really cool and something they haven't done on another ship." — Jennifer
