IN-SEASON ADDITIONS?!? Kansas Jayhawks Football Adds DT Clifton Thompson, RB Chase Belcher to Roster

Kansas Jayhawks football land game-changing reinforcements as defensive tackle Clifton Thompson and running back Chase Belcher join the roster amid eligibility battles with the NCAA. Can these key transfers plug critical gaps and change the season's trajectory for Lance Leipold’s squad?

Derek Johnson breaks down what Thompson’s nose tackle prowess and Belcher’s versatile rushing skills bring to the Jayhawks’ lineup, especially with injuries thinning Kansas’ running back rotation. The episode examines recent depth chart shifts, the impact of Yasin Willis’ surgery, and a surprise position switch for Khijon Cummings-Coleman. Listeners get the inside scoop on how these roster updates might shape KU's Big 12 campaign and what it takes for new arrivals to quickly contribute on the field.
