Kansas Jayhawks Projected Lineup DRAMA as Tre White Addition Sparks Rotation Shake-Up for Bill Self

Kansas Jayhawks shake up their starting lineup as Tre White returns—how will his presence reshape Bill Self’s rotation and the battle for minutes this season? With White, Tyran Stokes, and Keanu Dawes emerging as core starters, questions swirl around KU’s ideal mix of small-ball vs. big lineups, and which guards—Taylen Kinney or Leroy Blyden—will seize key roles. Could recruiting promises and roster politics ultimately dictate who cracks the starting five?

Derek Johnson breaks down projected minute allocations, pivotal rotation battles, and potential stat leaders, highlighting the depth and versatility poised to make KU a Big 12 powerhouse. Plus, KU volleyball and soccer continue their dominant streaks, and former Jayhawk Jalon Daniels is on track to start at quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after Baker Mayfield’s injury. Can this Kansas basketball squad outperform last season’s results—and who will step up to lead the charge?
