Will Tre White STAY Eligible & Who Will Bill Self ADD for Last Roster Spot: Council, TKR or Ogbole?

Kansas Jayhawks face unprecedented eligibility chaos as legal battles threaten to reshape the basketball roster. Can Bill Self and KU compliance navigate a tangled web of NCAA rulings, last-minute injunctions, and shifting court decisions in time for second-semester classes? Tre White, Melvin Council, Trey Kaufman-Renn, and Emmanuel Ogbole headline the uncertainty, with each player’s fate hinging on appeals, technicalities, and the ever-shifting landscape of transfer eligibility law.

Henry Greenstein of the Lawrence Journal-World joins Derek Johnson to break down the legal strategies, key court rulings, and recruiting implications for Kansas basketball and football. Hear insider insights on Self’s loyalty to Council, KU’s interest in Kaufman-Renn, and whether academic deadlines or NIL considerations will make the final call. With time ticking and roster spots scarce, can the Jayhawks make the right move—or will fate decide the lineup for them?
