CLASH: Kansas Jayhawks vs K-State Wildcats – Avery Johnson’s Running Game Part of CRITICAL MATCHUPS

Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas State Wildcats face a pivotal Sunflower Showdown as mobile quarterbacks Isaiah Marshall and Avery Johnson look to exploit defensive weaknesses. Can KU's defensive front, led by Leroy Harris and David Santiago, disrupt K-State’s elite pass protection and contain Johnson’s explosive scrambles? Short yardage battles, third down efficiency, and disciplined play loom large in a matchup where details will decide the winner.

Derek Johnson breaks down key matchups, including KU’s struggles on power runs against K-State’s stout defense and what Jalen Dupree’s involvement could mean for Kansas. Insightful betting analysis highlights best prop bets—from Dylan Edwards’ receiving yards to Jailen Butler’s touchdown odds. Plus, the episode covers how budget disparities impact Big 12 football outcomes and a big KU volleyball win over the Wildcats. Will turnovers and penalties spell doom for the Jayhawks, or can Kansas finally outpace Kansas State in Lawrence?
