What started as a contingency plan became a calling when an injury forced him into retirement earlier than expected.

Since then, Michael has rebuilt—professionally and personally. Over the past five years, he has grown a thriving real estate business, found his life partner, Laura, and recently stepped into his newest role: fatherhood.
