Privacy Policy
Short version: your podcasts stay on your device, and we build no profile of you.
No accounts. Podli works without any sign-up. You never give us an email, name or password.
No ads, no third-party trackers. Podli runs no advertising, no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics or tracking scripts. We build no profile of you, and nothing is tied to your identity.
Your data stays on your device. Your followed podcasts, folders, playback positions and settings are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to us.
Network requests. To search podcasts, show trending lists and load episodes and artwork, the app contacts our lightweight backend (podli.appgrid.eu) and the podcast feeds themselves. These requests return only the content you asked for and are not tied to your identity. Episode audio streams directly from each podcast's own host.
Anonymous usage counts. Our server keeps simple aggregate totals: how busy it is (searches, trending lists and feed lookups per day) and which podcasts are opened, grouped by country. The country is derived from your IP address, which is then immediately discarded — never stored or logged. Everything is pooled with a minimum threshold, so these are plain counts with no identifiers and no way to single out any individual’s listening.
Server logs. Like any web service, our host keeps standard short-term access logs (IP address, path, timestamp) for operations and abuse prevention. They are not analysed, profiled or shared, and rotate out within a few days.
Subscriptions. Podli Pro is handled entirely by Apple via the App Store on iOS, and by Google via the Play Store on Android. We never see your payment details.
Feature requests. If you send a feature request through this website, the information you type (and an optional email) is emailed to us so we can read it. Nothing more.
