Mitch Jebb entered 2026 with plenty to prove, but the former second-round pick has completely worked his way back onto the Pirates’ radar.

On this week’s Bucs On Deck, we break down Jebb’s swing changes, improved ability to impact the baseball, elite speed, transition to center field and what his strong showing at Triple-A Indianapolis could mean for his future. With Jebb also Rule 5 eligible this offseason, the Pirates may soon have a real decision to make.
